Playing With My Toys

I thought I would post a couple of pictures of Scarlett playing with her toys. It seems like she is changing daily now. She has discovered her fingers and is really getting control of her neck. She is also sleeping in her crib now. I think this was harder on Mom than it was on Scarlett.

Scarlett's almost 3 months!

Wow time is flying by. Scarlett will be turning three months old this week. She is growing and changing daily. She is all smiles and is loving life. Recently Grandma Wrucke started watching her and she is having a blast. They spend their days playing on her mat, reading, and listening to music. Grandma thinks she already sings...must be all the guitar playing Daddy does.

Scarlett also took her first vacation and flew on an airplane for the first time. We were amazed at how well she did. There weren't any tears and she still managed to sleep through the night. It was also her first time being outside without being completely covered in her carseat. She got to enjoy walks in her baby bjorn and took in the sunlight and fresh air.

Elva has been fantastic with Scarlett. She loves keeping a watch over Scarlett and licking up her spit up.

We have been very lucky to have such a happy-go-lucky baby.

Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas this year despite the weather (and boy were we missing the Jamaican weather during all these snow storms and negative degree weather). Scarlett loved meeting her cousins Chloe and Mackenzie for the first time and celebrating Grandma Wrucke's birthday. We also got to spend time at Grandma and Grandpa Murdoch's house and made a trip down to Grandma Crystal's house. Scarlett enjoyed spending time with her family and getting A LOT of attention. Scarlett got a play mat for Christmas from Mommy and Daddy and it has turned into her favorite passtime...and Elva seems to love it too. Check out our pics.

Scarlett Asia

Scarlett Asia joined us on November 18, 2009 at 11:07 pm. She weighed in at a heafty 6 pounds 13 ounces and a lengthy 20 inches long...and has a full head of hair. Her favorite activities include eating, sleeping, and pooping, pooping, pooping.

She has been such a blessing to our family.
